Check whether the programme fits your court order
RootCalm does not infer acceptance from a state, county, or case type. The presiding officer or supervisor decides whether an online programme meets the requirements of each individual order.
Named clinical director
Dr Elizma van der Smit holds the personal NAMA CAMS-II certification.
PhD clinician-authored
Written by an HPCSA-registered psychologist, ~30 years experience.
Verifiable certificate
Unique QR + public verify URL for attorneys and courts.
Live facilitator contact
Twice-monthly live group Q&A with the psychologist; attendance recorded.
Free pre-approval letter
Get written pre-approval from the ordering court before you pay.
Identity-verified completion
Participants pass a government-ID and live-selfie check at enrolment, plus face re-match checks before key assessments. Certificates carry an identity-assurance line so a court can confirm who did the work.
How to verify acceptance for your case
- Request a free pre-approval letter. We send a signed clinician letter with programme scope, hours, and the clinical director's NAMA CAMS-II credential — you or your attorney submit it to the court before you pay.
- Get written confirmation from the court/PO. A note in the case file or an email from the clerk is usually enough.
- Start the programme. Every session is time-verified and every completion certificate is publicly verifiable via QR + URL.
This page is maintained by RootCalm to help US clients and attorneys assess whether our online anger management program fits their case. It reflects our current experience and understanding of state-level acceptance patterns, and is not a certification or legal opinion. Acceptance of any anger-management programme is ultimately at the discretion of the presiding officer. For court-mandated domestic-violence intervention (BIP) or state-run diversion programmes, a court-certified in-state provider may be required.
